BTC Bookstore Return Policy:

1. BTC Bookstore receipt required
2. NO RETURN on items for any class of less than 15 class days duration without proof of drop. With proof of drop, return is treated as all others:
3. ONE WEEK from date of purchase on standard texts/supplies purchases.
4. Text/supplies must be in new/mint condition (i.e. unopened, not written in, still shrinkwrapped).

The bookstore manager reserves the right to refuse any returns that do not meet these conditions. Refunds will be processed depending on original payment type:

Check: Refund will be processed through the business office and checks will be mailed within three weeks.

VISA/MC/Debit cards: Refund will be credited to the original purchase card. If card is not available at return, credit will be processed as if a check were used for purchase.

Cash: If the bookstore has cash available, cash will be returned. If the bookstore is unable to process a cash return, a check will be issued.

Funding/Financial Aid: Refunds will be credited to the original purchasing agency.

Book Buyback

BTC Bookstore holds a "book buyback" during the last week of last week of fall, winter, and spring quarters. If the bookstore will stock the same text in the following quarter, we will buy back needed quantities at approximately one-half the original “new book” price (doesn’t matter if the book was purchased new or used). If we do not need the text, if there is an edition change, or if we are unable to purchase due to other issues, we will check for a wholesale price through the buyback database. Wholesale buyback pricing is considerably less than the one-half retail.

Buyback of a text is never guaranteed.

We will not accept workbooks that have visible answers, or any text that has moisture damage. Some instructors have requested we not purchase used books for their classes.

Shipping Policy

Shipments: Orders for items that are in stock take 2 working days to process and should arrive at your home within 2 - 3 working days of date of shipment if you live in the state of Washington. Washington residents do not need to select 2nd day shipping; most orders will reach you within 3 days of shipment. If we are out of stock on an item you order, we will notify you by email and hold your order for more stock to arrive unless  you want to cancel the order. If there are several items on your order, you will be provided the opportunity to split your order at no additional shipping cost or wait for all the items to arrive

Software Policy

You must be a registered student, and provide proof of same, to purchase software through the BTC Bookstore. Software is not returnable.
